Hybrid Design Course, Shenkar College

In collaboration with Stav Shukar and led by Omer Polak, with teaching assistance from Nivi Lahavi and Yakir Buaron, our project, Gallop – A Bridge for Love and Openness, addressed the daily needs of farm members on the autism spectrum. Over a semester, we developed a modular, reusable plate design that enhanced their meal experience and reduced plastic waste. By identifying issues with non-reusable containers, we created a personalized, sustainable solution. Iterative 3D modeling by Yakir Buaron refined our prototypes, resulting in eco-conscious 3D-printed designs that support organized eating and benefit both the farm members and the environment.
